Nurturing the Next Generation of Musicians.

The North Texas Music Teachers Association is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment where students can learn, thrive, and excel in music through performance and competition opportunities.

Our Program
01
Instruction
We offer music instruction from teachers who are professionally engaged in teaching and may be nationally certified in their respective fields. Our music festivals and recitals provide positive performance opportunities for students.
02
Recognition
We recognize and award students receiving music instruction, offering opportunities for competitions, scholarships, and awards at local, state, and national levels. We also maintain a referral list of qualified teachers.
03
Growth
We are committed to the ongoing professional growth of our teachers through workshops, monthly lectures, and conventions. We network with other arts organizations and prioritize your child’s success and enjoyment.
"Music has the power of producing a certain effect on the moral character of the soul, and if it has the power to do this, it is clear that the young must be directed to music and must be educated in it."
